The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-12-G-0006 to Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111, on a sole-source basis. This effort is to perform vibration testing on fuel components of the V-22 that may be affected by the Interim Defensive Weapon System (IDWS), which include the Fuel Transfer Valve, Climb Dive Valve, Solenoid Purge Valve, and Tee Check Valve in order to pass the higher vibration profile induced by the IDWS. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tilt-Rotor Aircraft and is the only source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge of properly integrating aircraft components with tiltrotor technology. For possible subcontracting opportunities, please contact Ralph D'iorio at 610-591-9157 or Ralph.b.d'[email protected] and Matthew Sticksel at 817-280-3103 or [email protected].
