The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has a requirement to hire a full-time Personal Service Contractor (PSC) to perform the duties of an Economics Officer to support the Economic Analysis (EA) Division of MCC's Department of Policy & Evaluation (DPE).

SCOPE OF POSITION

The Economics Officer must possess expertise in the field of economics and knowledge of the economic analysis of development projects, cost-benefit analysis and growth diagnostics. The PSC will work in collaboration with MCC economists and technical specialists under the direction of MCC's Managing Director for Economic Analysis. The PSC will also work as a member of the DPE team and MCC country teams in cooperation with other MCC staff.

PERFORMANCE PERIOD

The position is for one-year (2,087 hours), renewable for up to four years at the sole discretion of the government. The duty location is Washington, DC. More than one position may be filled under this announcement. Travel may be required.

CONTRACT AWARD

Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded solely to an individual, not a firm.
