Project will consist of 12.5 MM Resurfacing, Shoulder building, Regrassing, and Restriping on various county roads and city streets. Sealed proposals for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to successfully accomplish the following work will be received by the Board of Commissioners of Wilkes County, Georgia, 23 Court Street, Washington, Georgia 30673, until 10:00 AM on Monday March 25, 2024. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Monday March 25, 2024 @ 10:30 a.m. in the Wilkes County Board of Commissioners Meeting Room 219 in the Courthouse located at 23 Court Street, Washington, Georgia 30673, Ms. Karen Burton, Wilkes County Administrator/County Clerk will be WILKES COUNTY's contact person for acquiring bid packages. Blank bid forms may be picked up at the WILKES COUNTY Commissioners Office at 23 Court Street, Room 222, Washington Georgia in the Wilkes County Courthouse. Contract Time: All work is to be accomplished within 180 days of the Project Notice-To-Proceed-Date. Successful bidder will strictly adhere to all Georgia DOT Regulations, Current Standards and Specifications, all Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices guidelines, and all requirements included in the Project Agreement between WILKES COUNTY and the successful bidder. Contract Time: Payment: Contractor to submit pay request to WILKES COUNTY and WILKES COUNTY agrees to review and process pay requests within 30 days from receipt. A total of ten percent (10%) of progress payments. if applicable, will be retained until final acceptance by WILKES COUNTY has occurred. Successful bidder will strictly adhere to all Georgia DOT Regulations, Current Standards and Specifications, all Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices guidelines, and all requirements included in the Project Agreement between WILKES COUNTY and the successful bidder.
