The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to post a solicitation for one full-rate production contract, Data Items, Provisioned Items Orders, Field Engineering Services and Technical Engineering Services for non-developmental, Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) systems.

NAVSEA intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) production contract for FY17-21 MMR systems, including Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Field & Technical Engineering Services and Cost-only Travel.

The MMR will serve as the primary sensor for air surveillance, surface surveillance and Gun Weapon System (GWS) cueing for the USCG WMSM Class Off-shore Patrol Cutter (OPC).

IMPORTANT:  Each company must be able to receive classified documents up to the SECRET level and must be a United States (U.S.) or an independent U.S. subsidiary.  However, the Navy will consider foreign contractors acting as subcontractors to U.S. prime contractors.  The export of defense articles, defense services, and related technical data is subject to the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffice in Arms Regulations and requires the issuance of an export license by the U.S. Department of State.

There will be classified attachments at the SECRET/U.S. only level lincluded as part of any future solicitation.

Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided or mailed.  Interested offerors should monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov for the release of the solicitation.  Since this solicitation, and any applicable amendments, will be issued electronically, the Government is under no obligation to maintain a bidder's mailing list.
