The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a fixed price sole source task order to The Boeing Company to procure Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 6315 NAVWAR Kits, A1 and A3, in quantities of 12, 24 or 36, for fiscal year 2018, 2019 and 2020, under the Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-16-G-0001. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304 (C) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Boeing is the designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the F/A-18 aircraft in its various configurations; and as such, is the only known firm with the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise required to accomplish this effort.
