The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the FY2022-23 Road Overlay Project (SB1). The project consists of some conform grinding, installing Type A asphalt concrete pavement overlays, installing reflective thermoplastic striping and markings, retroreflective pavement markers, and installing new survey monuments. It also includes the pulverization of the 1.25 miles existing roadbed for the segment of Seymour Road that is 0.37 miles West of Cranmore Road and 2.55 miles East of Reclamation Road along with any related items of work. The roads included in this project and the work limits are shown on the project location map and the project plans. Complete the work within 30 working days. Liquidated Damages for this project are based on Section 8-1.10A of the Caltrans Standard Specifications dated 2018. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. The work shall be done in accordance with the Standard Plans 2018 and Standard Specifications 2018, of the California Department of Transportation and in accordance with the Special Provisions.
