This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES UNTIL THE RFQ IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The 409th CSB, RCO Stuttgart anticipates a requirement for an Instrumentalist at USAG, Stuttgart. This is a non-personnel services contract to provide Worship Instrumentalist Services, Catholic/Protestant at Panzer & Patch Barracks. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Worship Instrumentalist Services Catholic/Protestant primarily at Panzer & Patch Barracks as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor may be required on an as needed basis to provide services at Robinson Barracks. The contractor's services shall include all planning, programming, administration and management necessary to provide services as specified in the PWS. The Contractor shall perform these services within the USAG Stuttgart, Germany geographical US Military Installations. Period of performance for the basic year is contemplated 01 October 2011 through 30 September 2012. Anticipated award date is 29 September 2011. Full performance is anticipated to begin 01 October 2011. Two one-year options may be awarded. In addition, the Government may further extend the performance period for up to six months under FAR 52.217-8. The Government may also extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor before expiration of contract period under FAR 52.217-9. This is an unrestricted full and open competitive acquisition. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Solicitation No: W912PE-11-T-7031 will be issued as a Request for Quote. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 7929, business size of $7M and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 711130. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
