Fort Hood, Texas, is seeking interested sources to provide Roman Catholic Priest Services from 1 Oct 2008 30 Sep 2009 which shall include 52 weekend masses, Holy day services which fall outside normal weekend masses, provide Catholic memorial/funeral/marriage/baptism services as requested, and provide Roman Catholic pastoral and spiritual counseling.

Qualification requirements include but are not limited to: All services under this contract are to be performed by an ordained member of the Roman Catholic Church and endorsed by the Archdiocese for Military Services. The contractor shall be experienced and fully qualified to perform the required services without any supervision or direction by Government personnel., and availability to be on call for Roman Catholic military family emergencies and spiritual advice for military personnel and their dependents supported by Fort Hood Texas.

The work to be performed but not limited to shall include the following
Weddings, Assist at Mass and Meetings
- Worship Services. Deliver the homily at no less than 25 Holy Mass per contract period.
- Religious Education. Conduct 12 monthly pre-baptism classes for parents and Godparents.
- Teach no less than 12 classes to assist in the formation of Catechumens in preparation for baptism at the Easter Vigil.
- Teach 25 classes per year to assist in the formation of those in the community who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Sacred Confirmation (RCIA).
- Marriage Rites. Witness marriages when a marriage takes place outside of Mass.
- Burial Rites. Conduct graveside Catholic burial rites for Military members and dependents when a Catholic Chaplain is not available.
- Command Master Religious Plan. The contract Statement of Work shall be incorporated into the Command Master Religious Plan (CMRP) by the Catholic Community Chaplain.
- Chaplains' Fund Council. The contractor may attend the CTOF meetings. The requirements of the Catholic Program shall be represented by the Catholic Community Chaplain or his appointed alternate (on orders by Garrison Commander). The representative shall present the needs of the Catholic Program.
