This is a Sole Source Synopsis!  The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Space Force Base, Florida intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price purchase order to Cengage Learning, 27500 Drake Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48331-3535 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).  The Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) requires continue access to GALE Publishing with Full Text, and online publications.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519130; the size standard is 1000 employees.  

This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB).  The 45th Contracting Squadron has determined that Cengage Learning is the only source that is authorized to provide GALE publications access.  As a result, a competitive solicitation will not be issued; however, the Government will consider any responses received from responsible sources that are authorized to provide GALE publications access.  Responses must be received by 23 Apr 2021, 8:00 PM Eastern time and emailed to [email protected].  Phone calls will not be accepted!  The Government will not be liable for any costs associated with this synopsis!
