The Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is looking to enhance its Post Irradiation Examination (PIE) functionality by developing an in‐canal PIE station (ANDES). One of the functions desired for this station is the ability to do isotopic characterization on material specimens such as cylindrical capsule experiments, plate experiments, exposed‐cladding fuel rodlets, slender flux wires and ATR driver fuel assemblies. The technology identified for this purpose is underwater gamma spectroscopy. The purpose of this request is to identify parties with developed technologies applicable to  underwater gamma spectroscopy.
