This is a PRE-SOLICITATION Announcement. The USDA Forest Service is seeking construction services to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision for the replacement of Willow Creek Bridge located in the Fairfield Ranger District of the Sawtooth National Forest. This project is located on FS Road 70227; Elmore County; Township 7 North, Range 14 East, Section 25; approximately 7 miles east of Featherville, Idaho. This project consists of removing an existing nail laminated timber bridge and abutments, furnishing, and installing a new steel superstructure, concrete grade beams, a gravel wear surface on bridge and approaches, installing riprap, and installing 4 Type 3 object markers on glued-laminated guard posts. No stream crossings will be allowed and as such, contractor should be prepared to have equipment on both sides of the stream. This procurement is a 100% Woman or Women Owned Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $39.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. Registering in the SAM system is FREE.
