The Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) is soliciting responses from registered engineers/architects interested in providing professional services for the project: GDC-24-Johnson-SP-008-DP Boiler Plant, Heating Loop and HVAC Replacement Johnson State Prison, 290 Donovan Harrison Rd, Wrightsville, GA 31096. General Project Description: This project includes the design and construction administration of the Boiler Plant, Underground Loop Systems, and Building A & B HVAC DX Systems and Controls. This project will include a preexisting test and balance on the heating loop to provide the designer and Georgia Department of Corrections with existing GPM information prior to construction. This design will also include for replacement any heating loop pumps. Mandatory Site Visit: The Department of Corrections will conduct a mandatory site visit for all interested firms on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 9:00 am. One digital camera, one measuring device, and one flashlight are the only items allowed to enter the facility. Cell phones are not permitted. No in person delivered packages will be accepted. The scope of design services shall include preparation of schematic design and design development documents, construction documents, bidding assistance, and construction contract administration.
