The Defense Forensic Science Center (DFSC) located at the Gillem Georgia, provides forensic laboratory services to the Department of Defense investigative agencies and other Federal law enforcement agencies. This contract will cover the purchase of four Life Technologies 7500 Real-Time PCR System with Notebook Computers for Human Identification (HID) Applications and one AB 3500XL Genetic Analyzer HID system to support the Office of the Chief Scientist and the Forensic Expeditionary Directorate Laboratory DNA Branch. The instruments will be used to identify human DNA in forensic samples. The following is a list of the equipment needed:

2) 3500 Data Collection Software- An Integrated software for instrument control, data collection, quality control and auto analysis of sample files for base calling and fragment sizing

3) Human Identification Analysis reagents and consumables for system qualification
Limited Warranty: One-year parts, labor and travel UL 7281 Approved cUL approval
A qualified Technical Specialist will provide implementation support. This session is valid only during the initial warranty period of the instrument.

4) This installation kit is for the 3500 series instrument for HID and consists of basis reagents/accessories to enable initial service installation.

Potential offerors having the ability to provide the product described are invited to provide a statement via e-mail. The header of the email should reference GeneticAnalyzer2017.
