This RFQ is to promote competition and small businesses are encouraged to participate. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking responsible offers from qualified contractors capable of providing the following:

LABORATORY INSTRUMENT MAINTENANCE/SERVICING
BACKGROUND:
Genome Analyzers are used in NIH laboratory science and research studies. The equipment requires maintenance/servicing to maintain the highest quality in performance capabilities of its intended purpose for the product design. NIH is interested in receiving inputs from contractors responsibly capable of providing the stated requirement in the form of capability statements tailored to the specifications of the following description outline:

Manufacturer ILLUMINA Inc.
Service will include parts and labor full service coverage. Monday thru Friday telephone and email support. Onsite response to critical and non-critical updates, applications support, access to on-line training, and annual onsite preventive maintenance visit.

Contract terms and conditions of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 apply to the anticipated award where applicable and pertain to any award issued from this solicitation. The acquisition process will be in accordance with the authority of FAR Part 12 - Acquisitions of Commercial Items. Award shall be pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and 13.501-(a)(1) using simplified acquisition procedures.
