The U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak Procurement and Contracting Division intends to award a non-competitive sole source purchase order to Capewell Aerial Systems LLC,  4298 JEB STUART HWY, Meadows of Dan, VA, 24120 for GENTEX Helmet HGU-56P.
The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.  The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 336413.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. Any responses or inquiries to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government.  The Government will not pay for information submitted. A determination by the Government not to complete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice, is solely withing the discretion of the Government.
