The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather market information. 

DLA Strategic Materials intends to upgrade 1,500 kg of metal inventory to unfinished germanium wafers capable of being processed into epitaxial ready (epi-ready) wafers for use as a substrate for photovoltaic solar cells for space applications.  In addition, these wafers must be produced domestically and will be stored and managed by the contractor at the direction and with oversight from DLA.
