The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) Scott AFB IL will procure Global Information Grid (GIG) Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) Services and Network Architecture.  The majority of work shall be at the contractor's facility.  The key personnel will be required to come to the Government's location in Ft. Meade, Maryland regularly to interface with government task lead.

 

This requirement is to develop the detailed GIG enterprise level technical architecture, artifacts  and associated implementation guidance required to ensure smooth and incremental transition of DoD IP networks to IPv6 meeting all the federal and DoD CIO mandates.  The primary focus of this EWSE task is on the development of interoperable, scalable, implementable GIG IPv6 networks.

 

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.203, the Government intends for this acquisition to be offered for competition limited to eligible Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Business (EDWOSB) Concerns.  This procurement will be 100% set-aside for EDWOSB Concerns.  The period of performance will be one year from contract award with one (1) one-year options.  The estimated start date is 1 March 2012.  The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541512.  The resulting award will be Best Value Trade-Off, with non-cost factors being significantly more important than cost.  If at anytime the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to not make an award. The Government also reserves the right to award without discussions.  All responses from responsible Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Business (EDWOSB) Concerns will be considered for evaluation and award of the contract.
