This synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1) and FAR 5.207. This proposed action is for the procurement of the Globus Medical System, which includes Six (6) RISE TLIF SPACER 10x26x8-15mm, 10 DEGREE for a TLIF surgery.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).

This proposed procurement will be a sole source award under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 339113: Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. Business size standard for NAICS 339113 is 750 employees. PSC code: 6515 - Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment and Supplies.

The proposed source is Globus Medical North America, Inc., 2560 General Armistead Ave, Audubon, PA, 19403-5214.

This procurement will not be competed because the aforementioned Globus Medical System is currently the only system that the neuro surgeon is trained on for this type of spinal procedure.

The Government will award a contract to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical Capability and Price will be used to evaluate all offers.
