The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1).A sole-source, fixed-price contract with Life Technologies Corporation 3175 Staley Road Grand Island, New York 14072 USA. The FBI will procure proprietary software upgrades services for existing Data software systems. The requested software upgrade is proprietary software manufactured and sole exclusive by Life Technologies Corporation. No other source can provide the requested software services.
