Solicitation N00421-14-T-0285 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order. Software must be Ada Core under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. AdaCore is the only known supplier of GNAT ProAda for 86x GNU Linux software. Request is set-aside for Total Small Business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. Award is expected 12 May 2014. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 9:00 am est., 5 May 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
