1) The Site Development Branch within the Huntsville Center Directorate of Engineering has a requirement for highly specialized Land Surveying / Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) equipment which can be procured through a firm-fixed price contract. The requirement is to provide Surveying / GNSS / Laser Scanning systems and equipment to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center. This will fulfill Site Development's requirement to continue support of RFP development, in-house design and other surveying support to various programs.

2) Currently, USACE Huntsville Center, Civil Structures division has Trimble Navigation, LTD equipment consisting of a VX robotic total station, R8 GNSS base and rover system, Trimble Access data collection software and Trimble Business Center processing software. The required equipment needs to be compatible with and have "plug and play" operability with the current system. The functionality of the required systems must be controllable with the current data collection software and the new data collection system must be
a) Total Station
i) Accuracy (Standard Deviation based on DIN 18723)) - 5"

3) True dual axis compensation - instrument capable of controlling the existing equipment. This operational and equipment compatibility ensures minimal additional training time and interchangeability with current survey equipment. This equipment is needed in order to continue and enhance our surveying support of in-house RFP development, in-house design, and other tasks requested by our customers.

4) Required Minimum Specifications
i) shall electronically CORRECT mis-leveling in both the horizontal and vertical planes. Compensator accuracy must be 0.5" or greater.
