THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. FAR PART 13, SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES, IS UTILIZED IN THIS PROCUREMENT. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED.

This solicitation is a request for quotation. The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-54.

The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 331491- Nonferrous Metal (except Copper and Aluminum) Rolling, Drawing and Extruding. This requirement will be competed as a Total Small Business set aside under the corresponding size standard of 750 employees. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the offeror that offers the best value to the Government using the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable method.

The NIST Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology has a requirement for the items detailed in the schedule below. Offerors must complete the schedule by filling in their proposed unit firm fixed price, and total firm fixed price for the requirement.
