This request is an announcement for information/market research for planning purposes. The synopsis does not constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach.

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center/PZIA is seeking potential sources to provide a granite slab meeting the following criteria:

Granite baseplate, of approximate dimensions (32" Length) x (12" Width) x(4" Height).
Must have six M8 threaded mounting holes from top to bottom that correspond to the hole pattern on an Aerotech ABL2000 translation stage.
Must be flat to within 1 micron to 50 mm or better. The flatter the better.
