CONFEDERATED TRIBES OF THE WARM SPRINGS RESERVATION OF OREGON GRAPPLE PILING Bid Opening: 4:00 PM, July 9, 2020 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS BID# B9751-V10-4236 The Forestry Department of the Confederated Tribes is seeking services of a hydraulic excavator with a "lift and pile" mechanism and operator who is experienced in performing Grapple Piling services. This is to perform grapple piling of logging slash and vegetative material on 185 acres of Tribal land, also listed are 250 acres of Optional Piling Acres which may become available. There is only 1 bid item to be awarded. Anticipated Contract period will be from July 13 - October 30, 2020. In-lieu of Performance and Payment bonds, invoices will be subject to a 20% holdback until final approval and completion of the job. The total project estimated price range is from $100,000 and $250,000 and is a federally funded project subject to all applicable rules and regulations including but not limited to Indian Preference. We are now subject to Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) process and their office is separate from the Purchasing Department, therefore all questions regarding TERO will need to be directed to the TERO Director, Wendell Jim.
