Clemson University seeks an experienced supplier to provide materials and labor to repair and recover four 28' x 45' Quonset greenhouses as outlined in the attached Specifications or Scope of Work under "Attachments" section. Quotes submitted prior to this solicitation are not a substitution for submitting your online bid. All submissions must be made online. In order to submit an offer, you must first register/login to Clemson Bidding at https://clemson.ionwave.net/VendorRegistration.aspx Registration is recommended no later than 48 hours prior to bid close. It is highly encouraged that you submit your bid prior to the closing date. This delivery and installation will take place in Clemson South Carolina. Repairs of greenhouses shall include (per greenhouse): *Remove two layers of old plastic from greenhouse roof & two end walls *Remove all existing rotten wood baseboards *Remove two old 3' x 7' doors *Install all new treated lumber baseboards around greenhouse if needed *Install new connection base to baseboards *Install poly-carbonate covering to two end walls *Install two layers of new 6 mil 4 yr clear plastic to the greenhouse roof *Install new inflation blower & bracket *Install two new 3' x 7' doors *Components not specifically mentioned, but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use shall also be included. *The absence of detailed specifications or the omission of detailed description shall be recognized as meaning that only the best commercial practices are to prevail and that only first quality materials and workmanship are to be used. All interpretations of the specifications shall be made from this statement. It is understood that the specifications or references to available specifications shall be sufficient to make the terms of such specifications binding on the contractor.
