The City of Columbus is accepting bids for—Griggs Boat Launch Imps., Project 511003-201901 (const), Project 690411-100009 (design), DOW Contract 2222, the work for which consists of up-grades to two boat launch facilities located in Columbus, Ohio, along the east side of the Scioto River, at the Griggs Reservoir. The upgrades will include removal and reconstruction of two concrete boat launch ramps at two locations. The concrete ramps and associated concrete abutments will be removed and replaced in their existing locations. Floating docks at each of the boat ramps will be removed and replaced or upgraded. The upgraded facility will include provisions to meet ADA standards. Other portions of the project include parking improvements, and seeding and mulching and other such work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, and City of Columbus Construction and Material Specifications as set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). WHERE & WHEN TO SUBMIT BID Bids will only be received electronically by the City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities via Bid Express (www.bidexpress.com). Bids are due August 19, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. local time.
