Joint Base, McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Contracting Office is performing market research to identify small businesses capable of providing potential services for Grounds Maintenance Services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst NJ.
The contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to ensure that grounds maintenance is performed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in a manner that will promote the growth of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. All work performed by the Contractor shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force (HAF) standards, instructions, and commercial practices. The contractor is required to maintain 862 acres of improved grounds, 1030 acres of semi approved grounds, 588 acres of semi approved airfield grounds, 1 acres of unimproved grounds for McGuire, 18.5 acres of improved grounds for 108ANG, 16.5 acres of improved grounds for 87th Medical Group, 173 acres of improved grounds, 4.48 acres of semi approved grounds, 549.22 acres of semi improved airfield grounds, and 303 acres of unimproved grounds for Lakehurst, 161.47 acres of improved grounds, 39.08 acres of semi improved grounds, 378.2 acres of semi improved airfield grounds for NAVAIR, 2 acres of improved grounds for Army Recruiting Battalion, 53.7 acres of semi improved grounds for training sites, 11.5 acres of improved grounds, 6.5 acres of semi improved grounds for Expeditionary Center. The work performed by the contractor shall include but not limited to mowing grass, edging and trimming grass, removing grass trimmings from paved areas, irrigating, aerating lawn areas, applying fertilizer and / or lime, pest control, applying pesticides to lawn and landscape areas, maintaining plants, shrubs, flowers and trees performing seasonal planting of plants and flowers, removing leaves, applying mulch, pruning trees, removing grass from cracks in sidewalks and pavements and litter control.
