The purpose of this notification is to meet the requirement to synopsize contract actions expected to exceed $25,000 IAW FAR 5.201.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biological Evaluation and Research (CBER) has a requirement for an Orbitrap Fusion Lumos Mass Spectrometer system with post-warranty service/maintenance.

The requirement has been solicited and the Mass Spectrometer will be procured under FAR Part 8 through GSA E-Buy under SIN 66: 615 9. The two (2) 1-year post-warranty service/maintenance agreement options are incidental open market items to the main GSA-schedule items. This announcement serves as notice that the FDA intends to award a single fixed price delivery order for the GSA-provided Mass Spectrometer system and the open market service/maintenance items.
