This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-44 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20100713. NAICS is 811111 with a small business size standard of $7.0M. *This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer that meets the salient characteristics listed below as described in FAR clause 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. 45 CONS, Patrick Air Force Base, FL, 32925 is seeking to purchase commercial services for handicap modifications to a 2009 Grand Caravan and restoration of a 2003 Grand Caravan to able-bodied drivable configuration. 2009 Caravan-- Braun conversion, standard wheel chair conversion to include: 10" full drop floor, removable and interchangeable front seats, load leveling suspension, power kneeling, full undercoating, power fold-out wheelchair ramp, power door with remote control, vinyl or rubber floor mat (no carpeting), configure seat belt for wheelchair driver. Install 4" steering wheel column extension. Move/install/adjust the following equipment from 2003 Van to 2009 Van: monarch MPS hand controls, EZ-lock system and steering fork. Freight should be covered in quote. Deliverables should also include sourcing local authorized dealers in Brevard County, FL that supports your warranty and repairs.
