Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for procurement of an Advanced Video Extensometer for a Instron Model 5567 and an Upgrade Package for Instron Model 4482, along with Bluehill 2 Software Suite from Instron, 825 University Ave, Norwood MA 02062-2643. The subject equipment is utilized by the 648 AESS/TAT Lab at AFIOH to satisfy mission requirements. The 311 Human Systems Wing/PKBA intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but duly authorized vendors as validated by Instron are encouraged to submit their information for future use as alternative sources of supply.
