Electric Fire Pump Testing and Inspection
BACKGROUND
The Department of Veterans Affairs Records Center and Vault seeks sources to perform weekly inspections and testing for non-VA owned fire equipment in accordance with all applicable National Fire Protection Association regulations at the following location:

REQUIREMENTS
Perform weekly inspections and testing and provide VA a written report of results (include noted deficiencies) in accordance with current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 regulations Chapter 8: Table 8.1.1.2, and Sections 8.2 and 8.3.2, for the following non-VA owned fire pump equipment:
Pump Manufacturer: Aurora Model 481, Size 5-481-11C, 1000 GPM, 120 PSI, 3560 PRM, Serial # 01-249115
Motor Manufacturer: Marathon, 100 HP, 3550 RPM, 120 FLA, 460 V, Serial # 8850-1/8-02
Controller Manufacturer: Joslyn Clark, Model 10630, Serial # 2088612-01
RESPONSES
If you are able to provide the necessary supplies or services, please respond to this RFI certifying capability. In addition to the requirements certification, all responses shall clearly show socio-economic status.
The following information details the Government s intent for this acquisition:
The primary NAICS code for this effort is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance
A Firm-Fixed Price Task Order is contemplated
VA anticipates awarding the contract to only one responsive, responsible contractor.
Please note that this is a market research request only. Any proposal or pricing received in response to this RFI will be used for market research purposes only and cannot be considered to form a binding contract with VA. The costs associated with any response to this RFI are the sole responsibility of the offeror.
