The US Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions, Soldier Weapons on behalfof the Headquarters, USA PEO Soldier, Fort Belvoir, VA., has a requirement tofollow on to previous contracts which originated with a Small BusinessInnovative Research (SBIR) Program effort by JDLL Inc. of Midvale, UT whichsuccessfully delivered to Government a transportable, self contained , x-raybased turn-key inspection system for identifying cracks in ceramic body armorplates. The US Army held the original contract W15QKN-08-C-0006 which expiredin September 2009. The new contract shall be a SIBR Phase III award. Aseparate J&A is not required pursuant to to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (b) (3) or 41U.S.C. 253 (b) (3).
