The Lee County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed written bids from qualified contractors for road resurfacing services for Haley Drive. This road will be patched and resurfaced from Lovers Lane Road to Old Leesburg Road (S.R. 133), which is approximately 1.47 miles. The project is to include approximately 98.9 TONS of 4” deep base patching by milling existing road and replacing with 4” of 19mm Superpave Asphalt, milling 350 SF of pavement flat, and 1,900 tons of 9.5 mm Superpave Asphalt resurfacing at 165 lbs/sy. Project will also include 2.05 miles of high build fog lines, 1.47 miles of high build centerline (replaced in-kind), paving turn lanes along Lovers Lane Road and shoulder grading the full road after completion.
