This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 115310 (Support Activities of Forestry): Size Standard is $7.5 Million.

This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
Must be registered in SAM before Award.

General Information
The intent of this solicitation is to obtain quotes for Hand Tree Pre-Commercial Thinning and Pruning services for the Rexford and Fortine Ranger Districts, Kootenai National Forest. The Award from this solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed price. The provided services are anticipated for one base year (Award date thru May 31, 2017) and one option year (June 1, 2017 thru October 31, 2017). Planned and estimated work presented in the Schedule will be ordered and accomplished to the extent possible within the contract limitations. Estimated Quantities are for the purpose of evaluation of prices. The estimates are not a representation to the quoter or contractor that the estimated quantity is required or will be ordered or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal. LOCATION: Kootenai NF, Rexford & Fortine Ranger District - Hand Pre-Commercial Thinning and Pruning 2016, with option for 2017.

Response Date: June 10, 2016, by 4:30pm Pacific Standard Time.

3.  Experience Questionnaire (pages 54-55 of attachment)
4.  State of Idaho Workers' Compensation (separate attachment, 4 pages)
5.  Must be registered in SAM before Award is made.
