THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 169th Contracting Squadron is seeking information on potential firms qualified to provide quotes on a future solicitation. The anticipated contract will be a firm fixed-price contract for Aircraft Hangar Door Repair Services for McEntire Joint National Guard Base, SC. The mandatory requirements are as follows: • Repair Main Hangar Door Building 253 to include removal of damaged shafts/bearings, chain, and idler pulleys. All items will be replaced with new replacement parts. After installation, contractor will lube and adjust to ensure proper operation. During this process one door will be locked out and will not be able to be closed during repair. Contractor will begin work on one door. Once complete and operational, contractor shall move to the other door and repeat the repair.

• Contractor is responsible for repairing Aircraft Hangar Doors in building 253. The expected NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 - "Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance." Any information submitted is voluntary. Request interested firms fill out and return attached Sources Sought Information Request Form and, if desired, a capabilities statement not to exceed ten (10) pages in length. Responses to this notice will assist the Government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 p.m., EST, on 15 May, 2018 to be considered.
