Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Precision Strike Weapons intends to negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0001 to develop and integrate the following Universal Harpoon Launch Module (UHLM) software enhancements, as requested by the Indian Air Force (IAF).
This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. NAVAIR intends to award this effort to the Boeing Company. Boeing is the designer, developer, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the UHLM and its related equipment, and is the only known source of the proprietary technical data necessary to fulfill this requirement.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any capability statements, proposals, or quotations received within fifteen days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
