THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME.

Notice Information: The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is the Nation's federal health sciences university and is committed to excellence in military medicine and public health during peace and war. We provide the Nation with health professionals dedicated to career service in the Department of Defense and the United States Public Health Service, and with scientists who serve the common good. We serve the uniformed services and the Nation as an outstanding academic health sciences center with a worldwide perspective for education, research, service, and consultation; we are unique in relating these activities to military medicine, disaster medicine, and military medical readiness. USU is located in Bethesda, MD on the grounds of the Naval Support Activity Bethesda.

USU has a requirement for the continual removal of hazardous waste materials from the USU campus, AFRRI, and two other small sites in neighboring Rockville. More details can be found in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

At this time, USU is seeking only qualified and fully-capable 8(a) vendors to fulfill this requirement.

Travel will not be an authorized cost under this award.

Interested offerors that respond to this sources sought notice do so at their own cost, the Government will not provide reimbursement for any preparation costs. In addition to providing comments on the attached SOW, please provide the following:

1. Three (3) customer references with names, email address, contract value, and a description of services performed.
2. A narrative describing your company's corporate experience in providing hazardous waste removal service (maximum of 5 pages). Preference will be given for relevant experiences with medical schools and/or medical research facilities.
3. Past examples of customer invoices and manifests.
