REQUEST A BID PACKAGE Request for Qualifications with Price Proposal #42-010 Sealed proposals from vendors will be received by the Department of Financial Services, Purchasing Division of the Hall County Board of Commissioners, at 2875 Browns Bridge Road, 4th Floor, Gainesville, GA 30504, until 3:00 P.M. legally prevailing time on Friday, August 6, 2021, for: Hall County Sheriff’s Office Construction Manager at Risk Hall County Board Commissioners, on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office, is seeking proposals from contractors or team of contractors, for the expansion and buildout of the existing 3rd floor office space, meeting rooms, and restroom facilities consisting of 7,364 square feet located at the Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center (LEC), 2859 Browns Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30504. Firms will be tasked to perform services during the pre-construction phase and construction phase shall include working with the owner and architect in project planning, estimating, value engineering, arrangements of bid packages, bidding and award of the trade contracts, and management of construction until occupancy is achieved, and implementing the one (1) year warranty and one (1) year warranty inspection. Construction may include, but not be limited to, civil, interior renovations, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, furniture and fixture procurement. A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference/Site Inspection will be conducted on July 27, 2021. The conference will begin at 10:00 AM. Meeting will be held at the Sheriff’s Office site located at 2859 Brown’s Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30504. This meeting is Mandatory for bid submission eligibility. Only bidders in attendance for the entire meeting will be allowed to bid on the project. The County will assume no responsibility for representations or understandings concerning conditions made by its officers or employees unless included in this request for proposal. All proposals will be evaluated in accordance with applicable Hall County rules, regulations and laws. A Bid Bond, in the amount of not less than 5% of the base bid, must be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each in the amount not less than 100% of the total bid amount, at the signing of the contract. Successful bidders shall provide insurance in the amount of at least one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) as required by Paragraph 17 of the “Terms and Conditions” of the contract documents.
