The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a sole source requirement for two (2) Heads Up Display and Tracking System (HDTS) Software Load Kits, Part Number 131-001A-00. The HDTS Software Load Kits will allow Army unit maintainers to update software to the Advanced Sight and Display Computer (ASDC) and Common Display Interface Unit (CDIU) at the unit level.

Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) this proposed contract action is for hardware for which the Government intents to solicit and negotiate with only one source: Elbit Fort Worth (EFW), 4700 Marine Creek Pkwy, Fort Worth, Texas 76179, CAGE Code: 0WEC9.  Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposal. This notice is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
