The USDA, Agriculture Marketing Service, Cotton and Tobacco Programs plans to award a sole-source commercial item contract to Hewlett Packard Company, Atlanta, Georgia. The contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 12. The contract will be for upgrading the Programs' existing 13 S-Series servers to Integrity servers. The upgrade includes hardware, software and services required for the migration. The contract will also include maintenance for up to 5 years after the award. HP currently provides all maintenance for the existing S-Series servers. Hewlett Packard is the only known vendor who can provide this upgrade including all hardware, software, professional services and maintenance. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
