The APS-U Project is installing 19 high heat load (HHL) and 16 canted undulator (CU) front ends, that require thirty-eight (38) HHL and thirty-two (32) CU GRID detector assemblies. There are two different versions of canted detectors that much be purchased along with four (4) HHL spare detectors and eight (8) CU spare detectors. The GRID detector is a photodiode and YAG assembly that will detect light reflected off the GRID masks to determine photon beam position. High Energy Physics Division’s, Electronics group will be purchasing and assembling these assemblies. HEPElectronics will need to purchase the items enclosed in this specification prior to
assembly.
For technical specifications, please see the attached statement of work.
