The main use of this laboratory equipment would be for the detection of pesticide residue from open environment sampling. A segmented quadrupole mass filter in front of the curved ion trap (C-Trap) with a hyperbolic surface, which provide excellent peak shape and transmission. A high-field Mass Analyzer with enhanced FT transient processing resulting in resolving power from 15,000 up to 120,000 FWHM at m/z 200 and isotopic fidelity, m/z range of 40-3,000, with up to 22 Hz acquisition speed. An ion routing multipole for trapping of ions and higher-energy collisional dissociation (HCD). An independent syringe pump which are controlled via the data station for maximum flexibility.
