Request for Proposal RFP #27691.0092 HIGHWAY 280 AND ORACAL PARKWAY UTILITY RELOCATION Issue Date: August 24, 2023 The Bryan County Board of Commissioners is seeking Sealed proposals for the relocation of existing water and sewer mains located along Highway 280 in Bryan County, Georgia. Sealed Proposals will be accepted at the Commission Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Bryan County Administration Building, located at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive, Richmond Hill, GA 31324 until 10:00 AM, September 28, 2023, at which time they will be opened publicly. For the Bid Submittal Instructions see RFP documents and Contract Documents Section 00 21 13 “Instruction for Bidders”. The scope of the project shall consist of the following generally described work: The scope of work includes the furnishment and installation of approximately 570 LF of 12-inch water main, 170 LF of 8-inch water main, 80 LF of 6-inch water main, and 1410 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer main near the intersection of US Hwy 280, Interstate Centre Blvd, and Oracal Pkwy. The scope of work shall also include abandonment of 6 sanitary sewer manholes, approximately 1250 LF of existing 8-inch gravity sewer, approximately 280 LF of existing 12-inch water main, and 210 LF of existing 8-inch water main including the removal of approximately 60-LF of existing 8-inch gravity sewer and 20-lf of existing 12-inch water main. The work shall include jack and bores, gate valves, fire hydrants, and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the project.
