The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the Development, Operation, and Maintenance of the Highway Safety Information System-VI. Accordingly, the FHWA intends to increase the ceiling of contract DTFH61-11-C-00050, University of North Carolina, 730 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard Suite 300 CHAPEL HILL, NC. 27599. The increase of the ceiling will address the requirements of the FHWA - Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government requires/intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
