ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS OWNER: Town of Fuquay-Varina 134 North Main Street Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina 27526 Sealed bids will be received for: Hilltop Needmore Town Park & Preserve (HNTPP) Clubhouse Renovation Project The HNTPP Clubhouse Renovation bid includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, and incidental items associated with renovation of the HNTPP clubhouse. The renovation will include changing the building use to a community hall with kitchen, office, restrooms, and approximately 1,500 sf event space on the first floor. There will be no work on the second floor. Renovation includes bringing the clubhouse up to current building code for public use and providing ADA accessibility improvements. All elements of work not included in the bid schedule shall be considered incidental to the contract with no further payment provided. (hereinafter “Contract Work”). No oral interpretations will be made as to the meaning of the Contract Documents. Interpretation, if deemed necessary, will be in the form of a written Addendum. The Contractors submitting a bid for this project must possess the proper license classification to perform the Work elements contained in the specifications in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes; and if selected, provide a copy of their active license to the Owner. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
