The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to issue a Sole Source Award to the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) in order to participate in the 2009 HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) for the Summer of 2009. The HNIP program is identified by the Office of Personnel Management as point four in its Nine Point plan, known as the Hispanic employment Initiatives, to improve the representation of Hispanics in the Federal workforce. This posting is not a request for proposals or quotes but serves as notice of the intent of the PBGC to make an award without full and open competition.
Technically capable vendors may e-mail a written capability statement with sufficient experience for this required service, which shall not exceed three (3) pages in length, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to [email protected] no later than 3:00 PM EDT on April 17, 2009. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued.
