This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the historically accurate reproduction of the Pulpit in the Steeple Building Museum. The work will involve producing fabrication drawings of the reproduction based on the information provided in the Scope of Work and those gathered through field assessment of the original furnishings. It is anticipated that fabrication drawings may only be necessary for the more detailed portions of the furnishingsUpon NPS approval of the fabrication drawings, the Contractor will construct the reproduction furnishings, using best practices, and will install the furnishings in their historic location within the Steeple Building.
Price quotation to reflect all labor, materials, equipment and shipping costs as required to produce and deliver the items as requested. The Government contemplates award of a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors, in descending order of importance, shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) technical capability of the offerer to meet the Government requirement, (2) price, and (3) past performance.
Christiansted National Historic site contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract based on the responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued for this requirement; quotations are being required to be completed on company letterhead and submitted by hand, mail, or fax to 340-719-1791. Quotes are due by August 26, 2009, 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time.
