1. Fabricate and erect on-site an experimental "Hutch" & “Cave” for Beamline #5. The "Hutch" & “Cave”, will be enclosures that are comprised of a steel structural frame, clad in steel, lead, steel sandwich panels. This enclosure will be designed to protect people and objects outside the hutch from Alpha, Beta, and Gama radiation as well as Strong magnetic forces. Custom "Labyrinths" for utilities will need to be built into wall panels. This unit will be fabricated off site, test fit for assembly, and then disassembled and then reassembled within the newly constructed NEH building. The project will include custom sliding doors at the new hutch and cave, as well as (4) additional new doors at existing concrete walled caves.
