For the last several years, the majority of the eliminations of Home Sewage Treatment Systems (HSTS) in MSD’s service area were a result of MSD’s Assessment Program, a program governed by ORC 6117 and defined in MSD Rules & Regulations (sections 1216, 1805, and 2502). MSD is undertaking the current study in order to more effectively execute projects, implement the MSD consent decree, and coordinate with local health departments.
