Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a contract to Dresser-Rand, the original equipment manufacturer, to perform grooming for High Pressure Air Compressors #1 and #2 onboard a naval 688 class submarine.  Dresser-Rand owns the proprietary drawings required to service the equipment. Dresser-Rand does not release the drawings or other proprietary knowledge to third-party companies, and there are no authorized dealers or distributors for the unique supplies and services required.
